KIDS ARE ALWAYS ON THE MOVE, TO BEGIN WITH, TRY CAPTURING THEIR PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER.

The first thing to remember, use fast shutter speed to freeze the action.

One of the most important tips is to use breakneck shutter speed to freeze the action.

Because you don’t have a lot of time to capture the right shot with children, the first thing to remember is to work fast.

For example, when capturing the kids among the trees, set your DSLR to shoot in TV mode and try a shutter speed of around one 1/400 sec.

Use the camera in burst mode, this will allow you to take three frames per second.   Hopefully, then you will get the right shot, the movement will look lifelike when printed as perspex wall mounts.

GET DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL WITH A TELEPHOTO LENS, TO EMPHASIZE, THE CHILDS WORLD.

A telephoto lens will enable you to get a little bit further back for great candid shots that look lifelike on perspex wall mounts.

The first thing to remember,  action and movement is the perfect style of photography for printing large scale perspex wall mounts.

Using our earlier tree example, as your child is climbing down from the tree, try getting down low. It’s always important to get down to their level and to have fun with them.

It helps you see the world through their eyes and helps them feel comfortable.

If they’re relaxed then you can get some real genuine smiles out of them. Whatever you do, don’t say smile let the image happen naturally it will shine through when large scale printed on perspex wall art.

TRY A PORTRAIT LENS TO CAPTURE CANDID MOMENTS

Once you’ve captured some great images at different angles.  Try using a portrait lens like a 50mm f/1.8, which really helps with a shallow depth of field. This will allow your subject to pop from the background, for this reason, the child becomes the focus.

Portrait photography can be interesting to capture and especially keep for important prosperity for the child and family history.

Create stunning perspex wall art from your child’s portrait and create a lasting photographic history of the adult to come.
